Location I chose a train station as one of my primary locations, as it is a mode of transport used by a majority of the general public and one that especially my primary audience would use a lot, to give the feeling of realism. I also believe train stations have a certain atmosphere and eeriness about them, especially ones that are secluded and not very busy a vast majority of the time. This all adds to the general atmosphere of the film and helps with the mise- en-scene. I also chose a general location like this, so it would not convey any particular message or meaning. I feel this is a good decision as it could be a row of shops in any town or suburb in the United Kingdom. I think this works as it makes the audience be able to connect with it, and makes them think this could be somewhere they recognise or are at least familiar with.
