Remarks: A recently commissioned study by PAL identified
nearly $820M of port needs for next five years. The State’s Waterways Infrastructure and Development Fund has never been funded.

Remarks: A Port Fund Committee made up of 10 members, 8 of which typically represent ports, essentially approve grant disbursements.

Annual Funding: $12.5 Million in 9 years; Revolving Fund
Match: 20% Local

Remarks: The program provides grants for projects that may

that can generate direct revenues.
