PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONThe CISL LMU Campus Program offers a complete and rigorous academic program that allows students to not only improve their language and critical thinking skills, but to expand their cultural horizons as well. The program features a two, three, or four-week CISL English Language + academic course, daily afternoon activities + one full day excursion per week, and room and board.

CENTER HIGHLIGHTS � Students live and study on a beautiful and safe campus with easy access to the most

famous sites of Los Angeles. � Fantastic views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean � 20 minutes to beautiful Santa Monica Beach

RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATIONS � Dormitory accommodations at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) � Double room accommodation, shared bath � Free Wi-Fi Access � Laundry Facilities (extra fee) � Includes 21 meals per week

ACADEMICS � Students’ classes are held at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) � Average of 8 students per class (no more than 10) � English classes (16 hours/20 lessons per week) � Additional Afternoon Film and Music Cultural Workshops (3 hours per week)

ACTIVITIES � All students studying at least two weeks will have the opportunity to visit an amusement park

(i.e. Six Flags, Disneyland, Universal Studios) � Surfing lesson included in program fees � There is one full-day excursion per week. Optional excursions available on Sundays.

OPTIONAL TRIP (July 11 - 17, 2020) � 6 day/6 night trip to San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Malibu and outlet shopping. � Harbor Ferry and dinner at Dave and Busters in SF included in price; other meals not included.

CISL students participate in

enrichment courses providing

an introduction to topics ranging

from Conversation and the Arts,

exam preparation strategies

(TOEFL, SAT, Cambridge), academic

subject matter (including STEM),

and global business topics and

leadership. These interactive

lessons go above and beyond the

standard ESL program. Designed

to challenge and engage students,

our program will give your student

the analytic and critical thinking

skills necessary for their future at

university and beyond.

Cultural WorkshopsWhat better place to experience the film and music industry than Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world? Our Tuesday/Thursday Cultural Workshops will allow our students a deeper insight into a city so often portrayed in movies and song.
