EVANS Community Options(ECO) is a Central West-based,not for profit organisation that
is governed by a voluntary boardmade up of skilled and experiencedmembers of the local community.
They provide a range of serviceswhich enable people to live inde-pendently at home and participatefully in their community to supporttheir aspirations, and enhance theirhealth and wellbeing.
Opening hours: 9am - 4.30pm,Monday to Friday.
WHAT DOES EVANS COMMU-NITY OPTIONS DO?
WE provide a range of servicesincluding: ■ information about what is outthere to help people■ links to what a person wants■ assistance to develop goals andwork towards achieving them■ support to access the community■ social outings for socially isolated
people■ support to discharge from hospitaland recover safely at home■ short-term breaks for carers■ short-term help for people withcancer ■ case management for LifetimeCare and Support participants.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?A CONTRIBUTION towards the
cost of the services will be negotiat-ed, however no-one will be refused aservice if they are unable to con-tribute.
REFERRALSANYONE can call, if they are

BATHURST Informationand NeighbourhoodCentre (BINC) has been
providing a Home Modificationand Maintenance Service formore than 20 years.
The service assists frail olderpeople, and people with a dis-ability, to remain at home by pro-viding affordable home modifi-cations that make the homesafer and easier to manage dailytasks, helping people to maintainindependence.
The types of modificationsinclude adjusting bathrooms andtoilets by replacing a bath with ahobless shower, installing handrails and relocating hand basins.
The service can also providemodifications to kitchens, par-
ticularly the lowering of benchtops and creating wheel-in spaceunder sinks for people in wheel-chairs.
Access ramp installations areanother adjustment that helps tomake the home more accessible.
All modification are made tooccupational therapist specifica-tions that best meets individualrequirements and comply withAustralian Standards.
The friendly and experiencedstaff are specialists in home safe-ty and provide quality work thatcontinually attracts positive cus-tomer feedback.
