Liverpool, at the west coast of England. In Liverpool there is 2 other proffesional

football teams. Everton and Tranmere. The Albert dock, University of Liverpool

and of course the football teams, are the main reasons Liverpool is such a famous city.

GENNERAL FACTS

Liverpool FC was founded in 1892.

Liverpool has played at the football stadium Anfield ever since.

They have won the english top division 18 times, they have been crowned the champions of Europe 5 times and won the domestic cups a total of 16 times.

This makes them the most winning english team ever.

SOME MORE FACTS! In 2010 Liverpool

was sold to Fenwey Sports Group, who is owned by John .W. Henry and Tom Werner.

The previous owners of Liverpool (Goerge Gillet and Tom Hicks), was deeply hated by the Liverpool supporters.

HILLSBOROUGH

In 1989 at the 15th of April, a horrible disaster happened at the Hillsborough stadium in Sheffield.

This disaster killed 94 on the day, and 2 others were killed later by damages from the accident.

HILLSBOROUGH After the accident the

newspaper «The Sun» wrote an article called «The Truth».

In this article, they said that the Liverpool supporters stole money from the victims and even peed on them.

This is obviously wrong and Liverpool supporter have boicotted theire papers ever since.

After 23 years they finally came with an exuse, but for most of us, it was to late.

LIVERPOOL TODAY

At the time Liverpool lies on 7h place in the league.

Liverpool recently got a new manager called Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers had a tough start, but Liverpool are starting to play good football again, and the Liverpool supporters are optimistic as always.

YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE

Liverpool FC has one of the world’s most famous club songs, You’ll Never Walk Alone.

The song is performed by the group «Garry and the pacemakers».

Schalke 04, Celtic and Ajax are clubs that also use this as there club chant.

You’ll never walk alone at the champions league final 2005. Livepool won the final on penalties after coming back from being under 3-0.
