Growing Momentum Behind Development & Investment

• £2.58bn total development value of regeneration projects currently on site (of which elements worth £1.09bn have been completed)

• £1.46bn of actual construction activity on site = 13,000+ construction jobs

• 4,000 new job spaces to be created by schemes currently on site

• Over 5,600 new homes currently on site

• 11 of the 12 new schools delivered in 4 years; the last one now on site

Moving Forward: The Future

• £10.5 billion worth of proposed investment:

– Liverpool Waters (£5.5bn)

– Knowledge Quarter “Project Paddington” (£1bn)

– £4bn other schemes with or seeking permission, or at pre-application stage

• The above includes:

– More than 20,000 new homes

– 40,000+ potential new job spaces in new offices/industrial/leisure/retail industries
