We are sent (John 20:19-21) On the evening of that first day of the

week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."

We are sent (1 John 3:16) “This is how we know what love is; Jesus

Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.”

We are sent (2 Corinthians 3:2) “You yourselves are our letter, written

on our hearts, known and read by everybody.”

We are sentTo all kinds of people (Mt. 28:19-20) “Therefore go and make disciples of all

nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

even to the end of the world.” (Luke 24:49) “I am going to send you

what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

(Romans 8:15) “You did not receive a spirit of slavery to

fall back into fear, but you have received a Spirit of sonship, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

(John 16:8) “When he comes, he will convict the

world of guilt in regard to sin, and righteousness and judgment.”

• The Holy Spirit gives us spiritual gifts so that we can serve the needs of others in the body of Christ.

• The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin.• The Holy Spirit teaches us what to

say when we’re talking with others about Christ.

(Luke 12:12) “…do not worry about how you will

defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say,.”
