Thank  you  for  taking  a  moment  to  read  about  our  Literacy  for  a  Life,me,  which  partners  with  local  businesses  to  help  support  school  libraries  and  organiza>ons  in  your  area.  Our  goal  is  to  help  you  maximize  your  Educa>onal  Grants  or  dona>ons.

Literacy  for  a  Life,me  was  developed  by  Educa>onal  Development  Corpora>on  (EDC)  to  helpsupport  schools  and  organiza>ons.  If  educa>onal  grant  money  or  donated  money  is  used  topurchase  Usborne  books,  EDC  will  match  dona>ons  by  50%.  It  doesn't  maMer  how  big  or  howsmall  the  dona>on  is.  For  instance,  if  you  give  a  $1000  grant/dona>on  to  a  school  or  organiza>on  to  purchase  Usborne  Books,  EDC  will  give  that  school  $1500  worth  of  Usborne  and  Kane/Miller  books  in  your  honor.  When  sending  a  school  your  grant  or  donated  funds  you  must  indicate  that  it  is  to  be  used  for  Usborne  &  Kane/Miller  Books  only  through  the  Literacy  for  a  Life>me  program,  and  to  have  them  contact  Grace  Delsuc  @  707-­‐953-­‐0860  or  email  for  the  LFL  packet.

Again,  Literacy  for  a  Life,me  offers  up  to  a  50%  matching  grant  in  Usborne  books  and  productsfor  every  dollar  contributed,  making  your  grant/dona>on  even  larger  and  is  tax  deduc>ble.

Literacy  For  A  Life>me  program  helps  put  more  books  into  the  hands  of  children  and  youngadults  that  need  them  the  most.  Our  extensive  collec>on  of  over  1800  >tles  includes  storybooks,board  books,  high-­‐interest  non-­‐fic>on,  chapter  books,  resource  books,  Internet-­‐linked  books  andmore.  Our  books  are  used  by  reading  specialists  in  schools  throughout  the  country  and  arecurrently  in  high  demand  in  other  countries  for  teaching  English  as  a  second  language.
