YOUNG ACHIEVERS

OF THE WEEK

F-2 Class Eliza for her wonderful enthusiasm towards all learning tasks. It is lovely to see the care and effort she puts into all learning opportunities. Keep it up Eliza!

3-6 Class Olivia for contributing to class discussion. Your opinions and ideas are valued in our classroom! Keep up the fantastic work!

SCHOOL COUNCIL School Council will be held this Thursday @ 3:30 pm in the Health & Wellbeing room. SEMESTER ONE REPORTS Staff have been working very hard to complete student reports from the first semester. These will be sent home on Friday and are really a celebration of the first semester. We have scheduled in parent-teacher conferences for early next term which will be a chance to have an in-depth discussion with your child’s teacher. AIP MONITORING Last week, I met with Michelle Miller, our acting SEIL, and four other local Principals to discuss our progress against our Annual Implantation Plan (AIP). The AIP is the strategic plan that provides the school with direction and goals for the year. As a school, we have made some great progress so far this year. It was an awesome opportunity to discuss what has been working well and challenges with peers, whilst also getting insight into what is happening across our network! SCHOOL REVIEW The final day of our school review is done and dusted! It was a really positive day, incorporating some more classroom observations and staff and student conversations with the review panel. The review forms the basis of our school’s next strategic plan. I look forward to sharing this with the school community when completed! APPRECIATION I appreciate everyone for their flexibility last Friday when participating in our school review. I especially appreciate Tania – our School Council President (it was a very long day on WebEx)! As always if you have any issues or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school, myself personally, or your child’s classroom teacher. This could be via Seesaw, email or the school phone! SCHOOL TIME CAPSULE 3-6 students each wrote on a piece of paper about their favourite experience at Lismore Primary, placed these in a waterproof bag and the Bunnings team placed it underneath one of the last pavers to be laid in our outdoor food court…...Our very own time capsule to be dug up one day by who knows who!!
