LINN TECHNICAL COLLEGE LINN, MO.
LOKI (Loh' Kee), in Norse mythology, was the god of mischief. He was born into a family of giants who warred with the gods. He became Odin's (Norse king of gods) foster brother and was accepted among the other gods. Though he was often wicked, he was cunning and frequently helped the other Norse gods with their problems. In his spirit of helpfulness and fun, we name our book "LOKI".

SANTA CLAUS COMES AGAIN
Mr. Perkins, and the Aviation class donated, bought, and repaired toys for the children of needy families. Money was donated by students and the student council to help out the programs expenses of repairing the toys.
M r. Perkins started this program five years ago, with only one family to take care of. Within five years, the number has grown to sixty-eight children and is still growing.
Thanks to this program and the efforts of M r. Perkins and the Aviation class many children have had a very enjoyable Christmas.

Each year the yearbook is dedicated to a person of special merit for their effort in making Linn Tech what it is today. This year the book has been dedicated to Mr. Livingston.
Aside from teaching regular academic courses, he also is in charge of both the newspaper and the yearbook. Without his knowledge and time Linn Tech would not have a publications department. Mr. Livingston came to Linn in 1962 and we hope he will be here for many years to come.

This book has been brought to you by the 1978 Linn Tech Publications staff. We hope you enjoy looking through it both now and in the future. The purpose of this book is to provide a permanent record of the people and events we experienced at Linn Tech in 1977-78.
Years from now we can look back to the friends we made and the good times we had while in school. We would like to thank Jim Valleroy, who designed the "LOKI" cover, and give special thanks to those on the yearbook staff for making this book possible.
