    If te purge parce$ is $oaded in one of te cargo tanks4 ten te cargo tank sa$$ a$%ays e purged to 100

    aonia prior to starting $oading $iquid.

    3= P!rging

    onia reacts %it arious coponents in te inert gas foring sa$ine products. It is terefore not

    a$$o%ed to purge %it aonia in tanks containing inert gas.

    Due to aonia8s narro% range of f$aai$ity and ig ignition teperature it does not genera$$y

    constitute a fire a@ard. Terefore it is considered safe to purge aonia into tanks containing fres air.

    'o%eer4 soe terina$s do require tat te cargo tanks are inerted to a $o% o7ygen $ee$ efore $oading.
