specification...The luminaire shall be a UL/C-UL Listed 2000 watt max cyc light with two recessed single contact sockets to accept double ended 4-11/16” and 6-9/16” MOL tubular (T) lamps housed in a 24 gauge patterned aluminum reflector. The fixture shall be a one light unit capable of being configured, in the field, into a multiple unit striplight. The body shall be constructed of all welded code gauge steel. Two sets of color frame holders shall be made of four clips each on the top and bottom of the unit. All ventilating holes shall be baffled to minimize light leaks.

Relamping shall be accomplished from the front of the unit without disturbing the pre-focused lamp alignment. Conversion of the socket settings from one lamp length (MOL) to another shall be accomplished without disassembling the unit, and with standard hand tools.

The fixture shall be supplied with a color frame, three foot three wire leads in fiber-glass sleeving, and a safety screen. All painted surfaces shall be baked enamel.

The cross-sectional dimension of height and depth shall not exceed 3-1/2” x 4-1/2” respectively, allowing the unit to be used where masking must be kept to a minimum. The unit shall be equipped with color frame holders with a spring-hinged retaining clip on top to prevent accidental removal

Relamping shall be accomplished from the top of the fixture by releasing the captive latch on the lamp access door, removing the lamp from its retainer, and disconnecting the lamp from the socket. Relamping shall be accomplished without disturbing the prefocused lamp alignment.

The luminaire shall be supplied with two 16 gauge single mount trunnions for overhead or floor use, color frames, and three foot three wire leads encased in fiberglass sleeving. An optional strap yoke shall be available.

Cat# 6540 is supplied with feed-through leads but can be supplied without as an option. Cat# 6540-2 and Cat# 6540-3 are supplied with 1-1/2 foot interconnect cables and cannot be supplied with feed-through leads. Cat# 6540-2 shall be divided into 2 sections of 10 lamps each, with each alternating lamp pair on one of 2 alternating circuits. Cat# 6540-3 shall be divided into 3 sections of 10 lamps each, with each alternating lamp pair on one of 3 alternating cir-cuits. All painted surfaces shall be baked enamel.
