LTA General Specifications



Crane Operators shall undergo Health Checks

❖ The health of each Crane Operator is critical to ensure Crane Safety.

❖ Any impairment due to medical conditions, can affect their ability to perform Safe

Lifting Operations.



Lifting Personnel with certificates

from Training Provider whose

approval are cancelled by MOM will

be required to go for re-certification

from an approved training provider

List of MOM ACCREDITED Training Provider (ATP) with Approval cancelled by MOM




Verifications of Competency

Applicants are required to register & retake

their certifications by attending courses

with an Approved Training Provider before

issue of Letter of Appointment

effective communication and effective

lifting operations.

• Any inclusion or changes to the lifting

team would requires assessment on

knowledge and competency by lifting

engineer before Letter of Appointment

(LOA) is issued

SCORE < 50% . Candidate to attend retraining and retest

Score =50-69 : Provisional LOA with Probation

Score : 70 and above ; Issued with Letter of
