Abstract:
The aim of this deliverable is to depict the progress of task 6.8 - National Support Groups, of WP 6 - HIPON in the market, realized by P1 - National And Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA), P2 - University of Zagreb School of Medicine (UZM), P3 - Radboud University Medical Centre (RUNMC), P4 - Centre for the Advancement of Research & Development in Educational Technology (CARDET) and P5 - Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (UKIM), involved as staff for the reporting period (01/01/2013 - 31/05/2014) of the project. This report presents the formation and the members of the National Support Group (NSG) in five countries and informs about the meeting minutes that partners organized.

1. INTRODUCTION
The main goal of this work package is to promote the sustainability of the project’s products and tools resulting from the HIPON System in order to provide the appropriate ground of commercialization of the product after the project’s lifetime. This will be carried out by the establishment of a commercialization strategy, transfer of the project’s results, HIPON integration partners’ activities, organization of conferences, workshops and advertising spots and also the development of supporting groups. Target of the following report is to inform about the formation of National Support Groups (NSG) and its meeting minutes in every partners’ country.
1.1. D 6.8 – National Support Group
National Support Groups (NSGs) should be formed in each partner’s country. Every NSG should be consist of at least twenty members per country and it should be composed of representatives of individuals and legal entities, private companies, private and public laboratories, academics and professionals, research and technological institutes, health services of public authorities. The role of NSG is to provide support to the project from each country and to represent the interests of each key player and country. Moreover, it will effectively have a role to help to steer and advise the project team and the implementation of the HIPON System.
According to the program’s requirements until the end of May 2014, P3 in collaboration with P1should have delivered the summary reports with regard to the realization of NSG meetings per country. All partners should have formed the NSG of each country and they should have set-up the first meeting of each NSG. Simultaneously, they should have delivered the meeting minutes to P3 for the generation of relevant summary reports until the end of June 2013.
The report of NSGs’ meetings was created in English by UoA and was delivered to every partner. This report concerns the National Support Groups that were formed in Greece, Croatia, Netherlands, Cyprus and FYROM and informs about the content of meeting minutes in those countries.
The NSG, which Greece (P1 – UoA) organized consisted of 20 members from 16 different universities and public health services. The meeting took place in January 2014 during a slide seminar on kidney tumors at University of Athens. During this the members were just informed about HIPON activities and planning by the Greek partner.
P2 – UZSM formed a NSG which consisted of twenty members from six different public and private bodies. They organized more two meetings on June 2013, where 13 of 20 NSG’s members were present. During them the Croatian partners presented the other project partners, HIPON, the wed side and selected chapters from the HIPON Moodle platform. Moreover, they explained the reason of the NSG formation in each partner’s country, gave a short overview of the work which has been done in the last year, answered a lot of questions that was raised up of NSG’s members and organized the next NSG meeting for 2014.
P3 – RUNMC established a national support group with the chairs of all 8 academic pathology centres in the Netherlands. Until today P3 didn’t finalized the establishment of the NSG, neither any NSG meeting took place.

The Cypriot NSG (P4 – CARDET) consisted of 20 members from 15 different private and public sectors. They also organized a meeting on April 2013 where 19 of 20 NSG’s members were present. At the begging of the first NSG meeting, Dr. Vrasidas provided an overview of the HIPON project and its main aims. Then they discussed many questions that they raised during the meeting, focusing on future target groups and old doctors who are less likely to use e-learning networks. At the end, they agreed in a common communication method in order the NSG to get the project’s updates and to provide new ideas.
FYROM (P5-UKIM) formed the NSG with 16 members. They organize the first meeting on November 2013. The purpose of that meeting was to inform the members about the goal of the NSGs, the activities performed, as well as the activities that would follow in the next period. On the other hand, the coordinator of the project from UKIM side presented the work packages and also there was a discussion with the members of the NSG about the responsibilities of each partner in the project.
