DESCRIPTION

For generations, artists have inspired us with their work, which reflects a willingness to expand boundaries and possibilities. Many of next season’s works moved humanity’s artistic expression to new heights in their time: Beethoven’s epic Eroica Symphony, Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique, Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, and Orff’s Carmina Burana. Coupled with leading and established soloists, timeless works and a new generation of composers, the 2014-2015 season pushes the limits of human expression and concert possibilities. - Scott Terrell, Music Director and Conductor, LexPhil

FEELEACHMOMENTFor generations, artists have inspired us with their work, which reflects a willingness to expand boundaries and possibilities. The title of our season is Pure Emotion, and I can think of no better description. Many of next seasons works moved humanitys artistic expression to new heights in their time: Beethovens epic Eroica Symphony, Berliozs Symphonie Fantastique, Tchaikovskys Piano Concerto No. 1, and Orffs Carmina Burana. Coupled with leading and established soloists, timeless works and a new generation of composers, the 2014-2015 season pushes the limits of human expression and concert possibilities.
