Level 5 Course Prospectus | Lifetime Training

WHO IS IT FOR?

Operations/Departmental Managers that manage teams and/or projects, and achieve specific goals and objectives as part of the delivery of an organisation's strategy.

Current responsibilities may include:

Creating and delivering operational plans

Managing projects

Leading and managing teams

Managing change

Financial and resource management

Talent management, coaching and mentoring

ELIGIBILITY

These are the same as all other apprenticeships.

Potential delegates will need either GCSE grade A to C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths.

Delegates without these will need to complete Level 2 in all subjects as part of the programme and prior to end-point assessment (EPA).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All Managers undertake an initial assessment to determine their course suitability including a skills scan, personal statement, short assignment and 10-minute interview.

CPD log and professional discussion

18 months (plus end-point assessment):

Mixture of face-to-face workshops, webinars, on-line learning and workplace learning. Delegates are expected to complete a significant work-based project in the last 6 months of the programme

Small group sizes limited to up to 20 people

Level 5 Course Prospectus | Lifetime Training

THE WHERE

WORKSHOP VENUE

All of our workshops will take place at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry.

The centre is a state of the art venue, geographically situated in the middle of the country and was established in 2010 as an independent research and technology organisation (RTO) with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Where workshops are over two days, the programme includes overnight accommodation with dinner, bed and breakfast. All costs except travel to, and from, the training venue is covered by the programme.
