LETTER TO MOTHER EARTH When the last tree has fallen When the last river has dried When the last fish has been fished Only then will you realise that money can't be eaten. Dear Mother Earth, Through the years we have been using your resources like there were no consequences. Because of the increase of the population in the world, your natural resources as water, fossil fuels and wood are decreasing. We are using it like a credit card with no spending limit. We hope you forgive us, we just didn’t realize how special you are. We want more roads and buildings to have a better life and we are forgetting the trees that make us breath and give us the real life. Trees are amazing, and we mean, we literally breath the air they are creating, and they clean up our pollution, our carbon, they store and purify water, give us medicine that cures our diseases, food that feeds us. And we’re sorry to tell you that we burned them down and cut them down with brutal machines. However, some of us are trying to help you by planting trees and saving natural resources. This help is not enough and we’re trying to pass the message that all of us need to contribute to save you. “Fighting for racism, poverty, feminism, gay rights, or any type of equality, it won’t matter in the least, because if we don’t all work together to save the environment, we will be equality extinct.” Team 5 Andreia Ramos(Portugal);Catarina Moleiro(Portugal); Csecsi Eszter(Hungary),Gluga Iulia(Romania)

LETTER  TO  MOTHER  EARTH

When  the  last  tree  has  fallen

When  the  last  river  has  dried

When  the  last  fish  has  been    fished

Only  then  will  you  realise  that  money  can't  be  eaten.

Dear  Mother  Earth,

Through   the   years   we   have   been   using   your   resources   like   there   were   no

consequences.     Because   of   the   increase   of   the   population   in   the   world,   your

natural  resources  as  water,  fossil  fuels  and  wood  are  decreasing.  We  are  using  it

like  a  credit  card  with  no  spending    limit.    We  hope  you  forgive  us,  we  just  didn’t

realize  how  special  you  are.

We  want  more  roads  and  buildings  to  have  a  better  life  and  we  are  forgetting  the

trees   that  make  us  breath  and  give  us   the  real   life.    Trees  are  amazing,  and  we

mean,   we   literally   breath   the   air   they   are   creating,   and   they   clean   up   our

pollution,  our   carbon,   they   store  and  purify  water,   give  us  medicine   that   cures

our  diseases,  food  that  feeds  us.    And  we’re  sorry  to  tell  you  that  we  burned  them

down  and  cut  them  down  with  brutal  machines.

However,  some  of  us  are  trying  to  help  you  by  planting  trees  and  saving  natural

resources.    This  help  is  not  enough  and  we’re  trying  to  pass  the  message  that  all

of  us  need  to  contribute  to  save  you.

“Fighting   for   racism,   poverty,   feminism,   gay   rights,   or   any   type   of   equality,   it

won’t   matter   in   the   least,   because   if   we   don’t   all   work   together   to   save   the

environment,  we  will  be  equality  extinct.”  Team  5
