She has contributed so much to the programs through her leadership and selfless service. I have known Briana since her sophomore year in high school, and I have seen her lead and overcome adversity. During her junior year, I informed Briana she would not make the Varsity Volleyball team. Determined to accomplish her goal despite what I said, she started the season on the JV team and proved me wrong! After the first volleyball match, I knew Briana belonged on the Varsity team. Another example of her tenacity, during her senior year, Briana led the team to playoffs. It was the first time in 20 years that our school had returned to playoffs. In my 15 years as a coach, I have never had another captain like the one I had in Briana. She was equivalent to an assistant coach. Briana was able to rally her teammates behind any goal because they knew she genuinely cared about their success. Her teammates loved her energy, passion, and enthusiasm! Briana was determined to be the best at anything she attempted. Not only was she a leader on the court, she was a leader for the entire student body participating in basketball, cheerleading, student council, and participated in a missionary project in Africa. Briana is the epitome of a true leader. Not only has Briana faced and overcome adversity on the court, but also in her personal life. Her mother was diagnosed with a rare cancer when Briana was in high school. Briana had to manage athletics, academics, a job, and help assist her mother with the care of her younger siblings. Not once did I ever witness Briana feel sorry for herself or allow this tragedy to be an excuse to waiver. Briana is a true success story, and it is without a doubt she will attain excellence in all her endeavors. She has returned to volunteer coach and provide advice and motivation for younger athletes. Since her classmates, teammates, my colleagues, and I regard her in the highest esteem, I sincerely recommend Briana Fowler as an ideal candidate for this position. RE: Letter of Recommendation for Briana Fowler

To whom it may concern:

I have had the distinct pleasure of having Briana Fowler as an athlete in my volleyball and track

programs at Reagan High School. She has contributed so much to the programs through her leadership

and selfless service.

I have known Briana since her sophomore year in high school, and I have seen her lead and

overcome adversity. During her junior year, I informed Briana she would not make the Varsity Volleyball

team. Determined to accomplish her goal despite what I said, she started the season on the JV team

and proved me wrong! After the first volleyball match, I knew Briana belonged on the Varsity team.

Another example of her tenacity, during her senior year, Briana led the team to playoffs. It was

the first time in 20 years that our school had returned to playoffs. In my 15 years as a coach, I have

never had another captain like the one I had in Briana. She was equivalent to an assistant coach. Briana

was able to rally her teammates behind any goal because they knew she genuinely cared about their

success. Her teammates loved her energy, passion, and enthusiasm! Briana was determined to be the

best at anything she attempted. Not only was she a leader on the court, she was a leader for the entire

student body participating in basketball, cheerleading, student council, and participated in a missionary

project in Africa. Briana is the epitome of a true leader.

Not only has Briana faced and overcome adversity on the court, but also in her personal life.

Her mother was diagnosed with a rare cancer when Briana was in high school. Briana had to manage

athletics, academics, a job, and help assist her mother with the care of her younger siblings. Not once

did I ever witness Briana feel sorry for herself or allow this tragedy to be an excuse to waiver.

Briana is a true success story, and it is without a doubt she will attain excellence in all her

endeavors. She has returned to volunteer coach and provide advice and motivation for younger

athletes.

Since her classmates, teammates, my colleagues, and I regard her in the highest esteem, I

sincerely recommend Briana Fowler as an ideal candidate for this position.

Respectfully,
