    Message:

There are many different names for a house home, apartment, building, cottage, farmhouse, igloo, quarters, and mansion. The kind of house God is

referring to here is a church. Each house has its own purpose. Normally,

people who like to farm, and have lots of animals may live in a farmhouse.

Those who live far north may choose to live in an igloo. Those who are

wealthy and have lots of money may live in what you would think of as a

    mansion.

Gods house is a place where we go to fellowship with other believers

(Christians). It is a place where we go to worship God as we sing, pray, and

give our offerings. It is a place where we rejoice in what the Lord has done

in our hearts and lives. God desires that we get together in homes or

churches and fellowship with other believers. He also wants us to share our

faith in God with those outside the church as well. God dwells in our

hearts, not in a building such as a church. We can take him to church with

us if we are in tuned with his spirit during worship. That means we are living

a life pleasing to Him. His Word encourages us to go to His house (the

church). In church, we learn more about His Word and meet new friends.

We can rejoice with Him and thank Him for His many blessings. Families

can grow together as they learn more about working together.
