We also have strong collaborations with global industry leaders who are ready to share their knowledge to keep you up-to-the-minute with current and future industry needs. In December 2012, the Legal Profession Qualifying Board (LPQB) of Malaysia declared that graduates with a Bachelor of Law (Hons.) awarded by Multimedia University from 2009/2010 onwards are exempted from the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) examination.

As a result, MMU law graduates fall within the definition of a ‘qualified person’ under the Legal Profession Act 1976 (Act 166), and may be admitted as advocates and solicitors in Peninsular Malaysia upon completion of the prescribed period of pupillage. Similarly, MMU law graduates are also qualified to be admitted to the Bar in Sabah (State Gazette G.N.S. 7/2010) and Sarawak (Swk. L.N. 151).

People always say that one’s best years are spent in University, I never realised it until the day I left. MMU was a place I had lived and spent the days of my youth, something that I would always cherish. Coming from the pioneer batch of law graduates I am thrilled that MMU graduates have vastly succeeded pursuing their legal careers.

MMU was an amazing experience. Be it the lectures, the extra-curricular activities and the campus life; they were all exciting. The Malacca campus was a vibrant yet stress-free environment for me. There was always something happening. Accomplishments aside, MMU has given me the greatest friends and mentors one could ask for.
