DESCRIPTION
Daily Lesson Plan to teach Grammar using Action Song technique for Year 3 class. Please take note that my lesson plan would be differ from what u need. This is due to the proficiency of the pupils in the class.

Content Standard : 5.1 Pupils will be able to use different word classes correctly and
appropriately.
Learning Standard : 5.1.3 Able to use verbs correctly and appropriately.

(c) simple past tense
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
1. replace or change the highlighted or underlined verbs in the song
lyrics into its based form with guidance.
2. sing the song and perform actions according to the verbs that they
change with guidance.
Vocabulary : waddled, ran, hopped, flew
Prior Knowledge : Pupils are familiar with the animals mentioned in the song.
Teaching aid(s) : Pictures card of action, Mah-jong paper, Song Audio and minus-one,
mp3 player, speaker, worksheets,

2. Teacher presents the song lyrics using
mah-jong paper.
3. Teacher reads the song lyrics and asks
pupils to repeat after him for at least
twice.
4. Teacher explains the song lyrics to
pupils.
5. Teacher demonstrates how to sing the
song correctly together with the
appropriate actions twice.
6. Pupils repeat after the teacher to
familiarize the pupils with the song.
