T tells the Ss that they are going to play a game called the funny thing about me. She puts two piles of paper strips with questions and answers on the table and asks two Ss to come and pick one.

In pairs, the Ss play a question and answer game.One Ss takes a question without looking and the other takes an answer. Then they read what they have come up with.

To raise the Ss interest in the subject of the lesson

The T asks the Ss to look at the presentation again in order to remember the procedure to turn sentences from active to passive.Ss rediscover the way in which an active sentence becomes passive.

T-SsSs-Ss(pairwork)Ss-Ss(groupwork)The Ss are told that they are going to play another game called guess it right.They will work in pairs at the beginning and then in groups.Each pair is given 3 coloured cards on which they will have to write three active sentences.On the other side of the cards they will write their passive equivalent.Then the pairs will join to make groups.Each pair in the group will hold one card and asks the other to make the sentence on it passive.After writing it on a card they will turn their card with the answer they have already written.If the other pair is right,gets one point.The game continues till all the sentences are transformed and checked.The group which scores the best is the winner.
