Time: The class will be held on, Thursday, between the hours at 1:00 pm - 03:00 p.m.

The group comprises 30 students, for this reason, the time will be distributed as follows:

20 minutes: Warm Up 30 Minutes: Information theory 40 Minutes: Rol Play Creation 40 minutes: Rol play Discussion 30 minutes: Role Play Application 20 minutes: Conclusions of the activity.

Language Skills: Comparatives Adjectives Vocabulary:( More, than, less), Adjectives: comfortable, long,

big, small, comfortable, dangerous, boring, beautiful, intelligent, and funny.

Life Skills: Cultural information: Meeting with my best friend in order to tell of the experiences you have in Cartagena with your family. Give the reasons for do a description comparing two places.

Materials: Practise Rol Play 15 cards with the drawing of the main sites of cities audio with random phrases about the use of comparative

adjectives (

Equipment: Recorder   Stages of the lesson: From previous lessons,

We will review the words we use to make descriptions of places, things and animals. For example: (confortable, Long, big, small, confortable, dangerous, boring, beautiful, intelligent, funny)

Introduction: “Today we will talk about the structure that we use to make comparisons between two things or people. For example: When I want to say: My brother is taller than me, or my brother is as tall as I”.

Presentation Give the students a card with the couple's photo from Bogota

and one with the photo of Cartagena and ask that differences they are watching

Listen the audio and ask random thoughts about comparisons with descriptions and phrases.

Ask the student to write a brainstorming of this information and create phrases to describe the differences and similarities between Bogota and Cartagena.

Explain the students the training of comparative adjectives, rules and exceptions

Point out examples of comparative adjectives irregulars with the aim of discussing its meaning and give examples

form groups of five persons with the aim of comparative sentences with words that are on the board. The words are: comfortable, Long, big, small, comfortable, Dangerous, Boring, beautiful, intelligent, funny. For this reason a representative of the group pass.

Practice

As a whole class, brainstorm a list of names of the tourist places

In pairs, have the students practice the rol plays, substituting their own information.

 

Evaluation

In pairs, the students must practice their role play which is to tell your best friend the differences and similarities between Bogota and Cartagena, using comparative adjectives.

Make a round table, the couple who will make his presentation will center, with the goal that all students have the opportunity to focus on the activity.

Assess the role play of each pair of students, in order to make a brief conclusion of the activity
