Aims to teach adjectives to expose students to the use of the verb to be in present simple to provide children with oral input to improve the students’ writing skills
Objectives to be able to name the different adjectives in English to be able to write sentences with the structure “It is...” to be able to describe animals

Activity 1: Activating prior knowledge. Fill in the blanks a/an related to animals, colours and school objects.

Activity 2: Explanation of adjectives “tall, short, small, big, beautiful, horrible” using animal flashcards. The teacher will prompt answer through some questions such as “Is the elephant small?”

Activity 3: Complete the sentences using the adjectives from the box. “The snake is...” Then the teacher will give the correct answers on the board.
