Needs of your audience

What do they need to know?
The Introduction: What am I doing?
Introduce yourself, your topic and the context of your topic.
Tell your audience what you will cover in your talk.
The body: What have I found?
Include key points, new knowledge, examples, trends in your data, etc.
Use signposting language: the first point I want to make concerns .
Conclusion: Why is this important or relevant?
Highlight the implications or possible applications of your findings.
Finish with a take home messages.
