• By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :Understand the negative impact of

excessive waste through simple discussion

Compare the weight of the rubbish in their classroom between the starting and at the end of the project by using weighing scale.

Identify the type of waste (recyclable/non-recyclable) and list the waste reduction methods in the forms of write ups and posters

Implement the waste reduction methods and compare the number of waste accumulated by each group

Present the findings using multimedia presentation during a mini exhibition related to the project

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

• include pupils from SK Parit Kemang, SK Parit Lapis and SK Sri Aman;• analyze and come up with the efficient methods of waste reduction;• facilitated by teachers from different subjects (English, Malay, Maths, Arts,Civics/Local Study);• 3 months of duration• instill pupils awareness of the various forms of rubbish found in their environment and how it can be reduced.
