Meeting started at 6:40 PM, Principal Nadia Sammarco and GB ChairmanLuigi Garofalo welcomed all members present at the meeting. Starting withsection 6 a- Principal Report due to waiting for GB member for quorum.
6) a) Principal Report: Unite sans Violence- Grade6
Parenting workshop on December 12th at 7:00 p.m.- Triple P (PositiveParenting Workshop) given by CLSC.- CANCELED/POSTPONED
Back to school- Januar/ 7th, 2019
Our antibullying week: Count on Me @LDVA starts January 1 4th-18th -LDVA's Got Talent on the afternoon of Januar/ 18th

Vice-Principal Report: no report
Commissioner Report: Success plan from last yearwas approved by the ministry.Preparation and orientation for Sex Ed program which will be introduced shortly.The new E.M.S.B site is up and running.
Teachers Report: Ultimate Math league for gr 4-5-6, there will be in class testingfor points to qualify for finals. Pure and Simple website has been launched readyfor orders, deadline to order is December 21st.
Pre-k Report: Maximum amount of students has been achieved for the 2018-2019 school year. Xmas concert taking place Dec 20th in pre-k class.
Home and School Report: Monday will be distribution of cookie dough (101orders) and second round of bagels( 146). Monday is holiday sweater day,children are asked to bring $2.
Regional Delegate: No report absent
At 6:45 Antonella arrived therefore quorum will be achieved, continue withvoting.
Day Care Report: Currently have 182 students enrolled as regular (based onSeptember numbers). Large drop from last year, daycare staff working on extrahard to save on costs. Motion to approve DQycare budget by Cathy Tamburrinoseconded by Carol Lafond, all in favour.
Adoption of the agenda with no additions motioned by Ms. Martinez, secondedby Domenic Gaetano all in favour.
Motion to approve the November minutes with the following 7corrections :Bagels sold are 293 and not110, daycare club FY, by Cathy Tamburrino,seconded by Carole Lafond, all in fovour.
School Budget: Mrs. Nadia Sammarco distributed a copy of the budget to eachmember present and explain in detail each fund, its purpose and allocotion.Approval of 2018-2019 Budget motioned by CathyTamburrino, seconded byDomenic Gaetano, all in favour.
Educationol Project: A report must be submitted by Mrs. Sammarco by April 15th.On January 23rd a GB meeting will be held where parents will be invited to takepart discussions regarding educotional project. PrincipQl will conclude report,bring to staff and then GB for approval and submit to School commission.
