It was 10.00 in the morning of sunny Sunday when I, together with my group mates, went to Robinson Calapan (now Xentro Mall) to look for a janitor we could conduct an interview. At the second floor of the said building, we found Mrs. Ruby Gawad who is currently doing her work.

Having time to reflect on the things we heard from her, I just realized that problems can be easily solved if you have others support and also you have to sacrifice something to obtain something. In the situation of Mrs. Gawad, financial won’t be a big problem if she and her husband have a job, a stable one. As of now, their combined earnings is enough for them.

I just thought that being a janitor is better than a driver. Wages of a janitor, even though small, has a security. You are secured that you will receive after your hardship unlike the salaries of a driver that depends on how many is your passenger. I come up with this conclusion because my father is a driver of van. His earnings depend on how many passengers and how far is the destination of his passenger.
