Ljubljana Castle funicularTel. +386 (0)1 306 42 00, www.ljubljanskigrad.siTake the funicular to Ljubljana Castle and enjoy magnificent views of the city. The lower station is located in the Krekov trg square, across the street from the Ljubljana Central Market. The difference in height between the lower and the upper station is around 70 metres. Hours of operation: January, February, March and November 10:00 - 20:00, April, May and October 9:00 - 21:00, June - September 9:00 - 23:00, December 10:00 - 22:00.The funicular runs every 10 minutes.

Tourist road trainThe tourist road train runs between the city centre and Ljubljana Castle. It departs every hour on the hour from the Stritarjeva ulica street and every hour at 20 minutes past the hour from the castle hill.Hours of operation: 9:00 - 21:00 from May to September, 11:00 - 19:00 in April, October and November. It operates only in good weather condition.

Ljubljanica River tourist boat The tourist boat, departuring from the Ribji trg pier at Cankarjevo nabrežje embankment, takes you on a ride under several of Ljubljana’s famous bridges. The ride takes about one hour.*Schedule: from 1 April to 31 October daily at 10:00, 11:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, from 1 November to 31 March daily at 13:00, 15:00.

*Rides may be cancelled due to high water levels
