LEC Presents: The Fast and Furious Math Fact Challenge!
Fast Math is a fun and engaging way for your students to ace their multiplication drills! Your child will love beating their best scores and collecting stickers as they master each fact family! With two differentiated levels of drills, your student will be able to challenge themselves at their own pace.
Directions: Provide scholars with 3 minutes to complete round 1 of the fact challenge. Score the scholars task. The ultimate goal is to score 90% accuracy in 3 minutes. Next, provide the 2nd round of the same fact family taking 15 seconds off the initial time (2 minutes 45 seconds). Scholars will continue this pattern for the next two months. The calendar for the Fast Math Challenge is listed below. Ultimately, we want scholars to be high achievers in facts 0-12.
Lastly, scholars will record their daily score on the student score card. We would like scholars and parents to send teachers pictures of student success. We will post scholars on our school page and social media. We are taking learning beyond the walls of school!!!
