He has also been selected to 11NBA All-Starteams, 10All-NBAteams, and sixAll-Defensiveteams, and is theCavaliers' all-time leading scorer.James played high school basketball atSt. VincentSt. Mary High Schoolin his hometown ofAkron, Ohio, where he was highly promoted in the national media as a future NBA superstar. After graduating, he was selected with thefirst overall pickin the2003 NBA draftby the Cavaliers. James ledClevelandto the franchise's firstFinalsappearance in2007, losing to theSan Antonio Spurs. In 2010, he left the Cavaliers for theMiami Heatin a highly publicizedESPNspecial titledThe Decision. In his first season in Miami, the Heat reached theFinalsbut lost to theDallas Mavericks. James won his first championship in2012when Miami defeated theOklahoma City Thunder. In 2013, he led the Heat on a 27-game winning streak, thesecond longestin league history. Miami also won its second consecutive title that year. In 2014, the Heat reached theFinalsfor the fourth consecutive year, eventually losing to theSpurs. Following Miami's defeat, James opted out of his contract with the Heat and rejoined the Cavaliers.
