Practice and instruct students on: • Wearing masks. • Washing Hands (20 seconds!) • Social Distancing (6 feet) Bring personal water bottle for school. Water fountains will be for filling bottles only. Make sure your mySchoolBucks.com account is up-to-date and funded. Students will be in small group cohorts all day, which will decrease opportunities for exposure to or transmission of COVID-19. School nurses will: Provide care, monitor and observe at each Learning Support Center. • Adhere to the latest MDH guidance regarding isolation, quarantine, and communication if a person becomes ill. • Review a clinical decision tree and determine if a cohort and/or group of close contacts need to be sent home, until quarantine period ends (14 days), an alternative diagnosis is given, or a negative COVID-19 test result is received. Make sure you know your bus schedule. If you need information, contact your child’s school. Please note the following: Buses will run at reduced capacity, with one student per seat, and face coverings required. Bus routes will be published on the HCPS website however, times may vary. If necessary, updated bus times will be provided directly to parents/guardians by the school or bus company. The time on the bus route information is approximate. We ask for patience for the first few weeks of this program as we work towards consistent bus schedules. HCPS requires independent childcare providers to provide their own COVID-19 safety protocols. Always stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms and please check with your personal health care provider with any COVID-19 questions or concerns. HCPS follows COVID-19 protocols from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Maryland Department of Health (MDH), Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Harford County Health Department (HCHD), and HCPS Policy and Procedure.
