Looking for Books• To find books in the library you have to know these
sections and where they are located.
• The 4 sections each have their own abbreviations:
Easy books - E Fiction Chapter books - FIC Non-fiction books - 000 – 999 (numbers) Biography books - B• These abbreviations are found on the spine labels of the books.

Easy Picture Books• The Easy section is made up of picture books.
• Easy books use illustrations (pictures) to tell lots of the story.
• Sometimes the illustrations in easy books tell a different part of the story than the words do.
• Sometimes the illustrations are even more important than the words in easy books.
• Easy picture books are “made-up” stories from the author’s imagination.
