How can students help in a local crisis after school burns to the ground? Oregon Elementary students were very interested in a Portland news story about a Washington school which burned to the ground. The students decided to donate their book reports in order to fundraise, and created this power point to invite other students to do the same.

1. Do a book report at school.2. Give it to your teacher to sign.3. Teachers collect them from your whole class and send them to Mrs. Willoughby at Taft Elementary BY MARCH 20, 2013.4. We will find out what books the

kids want and order them from Bob’s Books.

5. We will give the books to Crestline from Taft and Oceanlake students.

Things for teachers remember……

1.Each child may do only 1 book report.2.Parents do not need to sign the report but a

classroom teacher does.3. You do not fill out a reading rewards

coupon!4.All book reports should be sent at once to

Micky Willoughby, Taft Elementary5.Reports must be received by March 20,

2013.
