Frequency Inverters >pDRIVE< MX eco / MX pro
The Power Drives Company
The range of >pDRIVE< MX frequency inverters have proved
successful due to their unique operating concept and their
reliability for a long time.
The new generation of >pDRIVE< MX units adds further inno-
vative features to this trusted power profile. The now integrated
matrix wheel and three targeted function keys enable an even
quicker access to the parameters and a simpler navigation into
the effective matrix structure.

The removable keypad
With its 8-line full-graphic display and many integrated
languages the keypad offers, in addition to simple operation,
new and unique advantages:
n Rotating wheel with keying function as
well as seven additional keys for utmost
ease in operating and setting parameters
n Integrated indication of operating state in
the chosen language
n Copying of existing parameter settings
and user macros onto other devices by
simply connecting the keypad onto them
n Mounting of the keypad up to 10 m away
from the frequency inverter using the Door
Mounting Kit which complies with the
protection degree IP65
The multifunctional design
Even in the standard design, the >pDRIVE< MX eco and MX pro
frequency inverters are extremely well prepared for the various
customer demands.
n Use as build-in unit: The removable keypad, the small required
space as well as the available option »flange mounting« (heat
sink outside the cubicle) simplify each cubicle concept.
n Use as wall-mounted unit: The inverters are extremely well-
suited for wall-mounting due to their protection degree
IP31/IP41 and the closed, metallic rear panels as well as the
available terminal boxes.
n Use as cubicle unit: With the standard integrated separation
of the power part from the control part, a design in IP23 as
well as in IP54 is easy to realize.

Extremely robust even in the standard design
A particularly robust unit design from 0.75 to 630 kW guarantees
a long and fault-free operation.
The protection against falling conductive parts during installation
and against drip water during operation as well as the reduction
of dust deposits in the unit prevent effective faults and reduce
the maintenance costs.

Varied Plug and Play Options
Simple upgrading by means of various options
such as field buses, extension of the terminal
strip and speed feedback.
2 option cards, embedded in a protective plastic
frame, can be inserted behind the keypad.
All option cards have pluggable terminals and
diagnose LEDs. A special slot is provided for
the reception of the different encoder feedbacks.

The range of uses stretch from internal waterworks, irrigation
plants, industrial pump and blower drives with variable torque
to compressors and water-lifting works with constant torque.
