SHARE PROJECT: HEROISM THEMED OUTREACH IN TITLE I SCHOOLS 736 freshman cadets, 144 sophomore cadet leaders, and 10 graduate students educated more than 3,500 K-12 students in 23 CCSD schools about heroism and helped them make thank-you cards for their heroes. 28 faculty/staff helped debrief freshmen upon their return. Total Person Hours: 5,178 Est. value $127,844* JUNIOR ETHICS ENRICHMENT EXPERIENCE 585 students led by 25 Citadel faculty and staff parcipated in ethics training from the Moral Courage TM seminars and presentaon by Joe Schweitzer. SENIOR LEADERSHIP INTEGRATION SEMINAR 518 students parcipated in 19 Senior Leadership Integraon Seminars that were facilitated by Citadel faculty and staff and 196 business leaders and professionals throughout the Charleston area. SUPPORT TEAM & REFLECTION LEADERS (NON-CADET) Cadets returning from their service were greeted by reflecon leaders including 7 community members/alumni, and 25 faculty and staff. This supported the learning side of Service Learning and helped cadets draw a line from service to leadership. Total Person Hours: 97 Est. value $2,394* KRAUSE LEADERSHIP CENTER SERVICE LEARNING TEAMS 407 sophomore cadets parcipated in direct service to 26 community partner agencies. They served in teams led by 55 trained cadet leaders, 4 alumni, and 7 staff. Together they impacted housing, food insecurity, support of families living in poverty, empowerment of people with disabilies, and safe and accessible environments.
