We must change our mindset from wanting someone else to feed us to how can I feed myself. How did God deal with the people in the early church, who wanted the pastor to feed them and take them deeper into God’s word? a) They were told it was time they were teaching, but you are still learning elementary truths. b) Since you are still on milk and not solid food you are not able to go deeper. c) Being a mature Christian is about training yourself, not waiting on someone else. 5) As a Christian, why are Life Groups so important for our Growth? a) God did not create us to do life on our own, we were created to be connected. b) It helps us to “do life” with other believers and grow through community with one another as Luke tells us in Acts, the early Christians also met in their homes. c) Life groups allow us to have a group to support us in times of need and allow us to support others in their time of need. d) Answers may vary. NEXT STEPS / CHALLENGE

Set some time aside each day this week to get into the Word. Allow God to begin to speak to you through His Word this week. Next, if you are not in a Life Group, �nd one to be a part of. Take the step to attend Discover Group Life this Wednesday 1/27 at 6:30pm to �nd out what Life Groups are about, what kind of groups are available, and how to get in a group. Lastly, identify some areas of your life where you may need help, and seek help.
