Annual Le Grand Spa & Fitness Centre Membership is limited to a select few and is subject to the discretion and review from time to time by the hotel Management.

HATHA YOGABreathing Exercises

Hatha is often used to describe gentle, basic classes with noflow between poses.

The Spa has a Yoga Instructor who has 30 years experienceteaching yoga both in Malta and overseas. He trained at

the most prestigious yoga colleges in the Netherlands and specialises in Hatha Yoga.

A Hatha class will be a slow-paced stretching class with somesimple breathing exersises and seated meditation. This is a

good place to learn beginner’s poses, relaxation techniques,and become comfortable with yoga.

Towels and mats will be provided by Spa & Fitness Centre.Yoga classes are held every Wednesday from 17.00 till 19.00

RULES & REGULATIONS OF LE GRAND SPA & FITNESS CENTREHOURS OF OPERATIONSpa: 07:00–21:00

Members are respectfully requested to leave the Spa & Fitness Centre and pool areas 5 minutes before the Spa is due to close, and to leave the facility punctually at the time of closing.

GENERAL INFORMATIONChildren under the age of 16 are not permitted anywhere within the Spa & Fitness Centre facilities.

Members may park their vehicles in the car parking areas at their own risk, and the Spa cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to members’ vehicles.

The Indoor Pool temperature shall be kept at 27-30 degrees, in accordance with Malta’s Health and Safety Regulations.

The use of the Outdoor Pool is strictly restricted to hotel resident guests.

Changing of clothes is only permitted in the changing rooms.

Use of equipment at the Hair Salon is strictly prohibited. Members may bring their own hairdryers to the Spa & Fitness Centre. The Spa Reception must be notified when hairdryers are to be used, to ensure that members in the Spa therapy areas will not be disturbed.

The hotel reserves the right to amend the opening and closing times of the SPA and Fitness Centre at its discretion, provided that a notice is posted one week in advance.

A Member is entitled to use the respective facilities provided that the Spa & Fitness Centre may at any time, without penalty, withdraw all or part of such facilities for any period or periods and with or without notice in connection with any cleaning, repair, alteration or maintenance work, or for any other reason which is deemed fit.

MEMBERSHIP

Any applicant for membership of the Le Grand Spa must complete the application form in full and provide two passport size photos.

Full payment of the membership fee for the whole duration of the chosen agreement is expected immediately upon application. This payment is non-refundable.

The membership card must be presented on each and every visit to the Spa, and the member can enjoy 20% discount on individual Spa treatments.

The membership card will bear the member’s name, membership number and validity date of the membership. Membership cards and privileges are not transferable to any other person. If the membership card is lost or stolen, the member should immediately notify the Spa Management and another card will be issued against a fee of 10 Euro.

Lockers are provided but are available for day use only. Members are requested to return their locker keys at the Le Grand Spa reception after use. If the locker key is lost, a charge of 10 Euro will be levied to replace the locker key.

Members are advised not to bring large sums of money or valuables to the Spa. The management cannot be held responsible for any loss of cash or valuables of any kind.

The Membership Contract may be paused/ frozen by the member for up to three months. However, a charge of 20 Euro per month is incurred.

The Spa will inform members when their membership is due to be renewed.

SPA ETIQUETTE, SAFETY AND HYGIENE

Guests are expected to be properly attired at Le Grand Spa & Fitness Centre, as a matter of etiquette.

Food and beverage cannot be brought in and consumed on the Le Grand Spa & Fitness Centre premises.

Members must conduct themselves in a quiet and well-mannered fashion when in the Spa area or it’s vicinity, and in a manner that will not disturb or impair the use and enjoyment of the Spa by any other person.

Members of Le Grand Spa & Fitness Centre are kindly requested to keep a clean and tidy environment following the usage of the facilities.

The Management will not be liable for any loss or damage to property whatsoever or any bodily injuries, death or illness of any member howsoever caused, sustained or incurred arising out of or any way connected with the use, whether proper or otherwise, of any of the equipment and/or facilities, whether defective or not of the Spa.

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

Le Grand Spa & Fitness Centre at it’s discretion may terminate membership with immediate effect on the following basis:

Member’s failure to pay membership fees.

Member’s failure to follow the rules and regulations.

Member’s wilful damage of the Le Grand Spa facilities.

Any other reason deemed fit by The Management.

Termination of membership will not entitle the member to a refund of membership fees or any part thereof.
