In-Wall / In-Ceiling Speakers

The high-quality in-wall / in-ceiling speakers of the DE series have been developed for natural, powerful sound repro-duction and high intelligibility. They display an outstanding performance / size ratio and are characterized by a verywide frequency range with a high power rating. The round and square models of the DE series have retaining springs made of high-grade steel for straightforward snap-in assembly and crossovers in separate boxes for maximum fl exi-bility when installing. The bigger, rectangular models are equipped with screwable clamps and internal crossovers.

Our DE speakers can be quickly and safely mounted in hollow wall and ceiling constructions. To reduce sound trans-mission to adjacent rooms we recommend our back boxes of the EG series. When mounting in acoustic ceilings, partially open ceilings and furniture back boxes should be used as well. For integration into concrete ceilings and solid walls use our back boxes of the EGB series.

Polar® Speakers Uncompromising two-way speakers with patented Polar® technology for extremely broad and even sound dispersion (180°). With Polar speakers it is possible to homogenously fi ll rooms with sound employing considerably fewer systems and greater speaker distances.

The model DE 300 FR is a powerful front speaker for in-ceiling installation which radiates 35° downwards. It was specially developed for employment as front speaker (L, R, c enter) without impairing the fi eld of view in home-cinema applications and media rooms.

The models DE 200 CD and DE 300 CDR are high-performance two-way in-wall speakers with a defi ned dispersion angle of 80°. They are employed as front speakers (L, R, center) for home-audio systems and media rooms. A tweeter with waveguide ensures controlled sound radiation with CD characteristics (Constant Directivity).

Trimless In-Wall / In-Ceiling Speakers

Our trimless in-wall / in-ceiling speakers of the DE-X series are high-end speakers for fl ush mounting in ceilings and walls which, on account of their elegant appearance, are predestined for architecturally sophisticated rooms. Thanks to their unique performance / size ratio they enable the implementation of sound concepts at the highest level with minimum intrusions into the room architecture. After installation only the fl ush-mounted front grilles are visible.

Our DE-X speakers can be quickly and safely mounted in hollow wall and ceiling constructions. To reduce sound transmission to adjacent rooms we recommend our back boxes of the EG-X series. Invisible Speakers

The patented planar transducers of the DE Plan® series for invisible mounting in ceilings and walls combine cone woofers, high-grade exciters in the high-frequency range and de:shape® membranes with optimized outlines (pa-tent pending) to offer unprecedented precision in sound reproduction. Once mounted, the speakers are covered with the supplied glass fi ber lining, then plastered and painted. This allows the high-quality speaker systems to be invisibly integrated in ceilings and walls.

Mark, cut out, bevel edges, smooth.

Insert frame and secure feet. Remove frame. Insert loudspeaker system, secure ...

... and test functioning.

DE Plan transducers have a dispersion angle of 180°. This broad omnidirectional behavior enables rooms to be evenly fi lled with sound using just a few systems. The speakers can be installed in ceilings as well as in walls.

Adjust fastening screws, spatula smooth and polish.

Apply adhesive. Stretch out glas fiber fabric, smooth down and leave to dry.

Smooth finely with spatula two to three times and polish transitions.

Finally paint over.

DE Plan inside for Furniture Build-In

The special built-in versions of the DE Plan inside® series can be installed in furniture and wall panels. The speakers are back-mounted onto the front of furniture or panels made of wood, MDF or similar materials and directly resonate through these surfaces. As the radiating surface is driven without an intermediary membrane, DE Plan inside speakers achieve high effi ciency and a wide linear frequency range. These speakers should be adapted to different built-in materials and room acoustics using our system controllers or DSP amplifi ers.

Invisible Line Arrays with Adjustable Vertical Beam Direction

The DE Plan 600 AlArray® planar transducer is a 4-channel line array designed for use with our multi-channel DSP amplifi ers. Each of the individual channels is designed as a two-way system with a 4“ woofer and two high-frequency drivers . For large rooms with longer reverberation times, multiple modules can be combined to create longer line arrays with a correspondingly longer throw and better directivity.

Multi-Channel DSP Power Amplifi ers for Controlling DE Plan 600 AlArray Modules

Our PA Series of multi-channel DSP amplifi ers is designed to control our DE Plan 600 AlArray modules. Four amplifi er channels are required for each speaker module. Beam direction, beam width and sound can be set for a room’s individual acoustics using DSC Control software with parametric fi lters and delays. We provide project-specifi c presets on request.

If two or more DE Plan 600 AlArray modules are combined into longer in-wall line arrays, the speaker channels can be grouped into pairs to reduce the number of amplifi er channels needed. One PA 8100 DSC power amplifi er, for example, can be used to control two line arrays each comprising two DE Plan 600 AlArray modules.

The various models of the installation series are multi-purpose speakers for high quality audio systems for home-audio, media spaces, gastronomy and presentation rooms. They cover various installation demands and can be easily combined with our in-wall / in-ceiling speakers.

Our new two-way on-wall and cylinder speakers with Polar® technology have an excep-tionally broad and consistent dispersion angle. The RL series embraces various versions of directional loudspeakers with a cardioid or supercardioid pattern.

Thanks to their special design with sound outlets arranged in a ring in the back box, the RL 110 series offer a supercardioid pattern over the entire frequency range. This design ensures a high level of directivity with minimum sound propagation to the side and rear.

Model

The RL 180 NT EVAC is a two-way speaker certifi ed in line with EN 54-24. It is designed to be suspended from ceilings in rooms with long reverberation times. The proven Polar® technology produces a consistently wide dispersion angle at medium and high frequencies. The cardioid pattern effectively suppresses disruptive sound refl ections from the ceiling by minimizing the amount of sound emitted backwards at low fre quencies. As such, a small number of RL 180 NT EVAC speakers can be used to transmit speech very evenly and clearly, even in acoustically challenging rooms.

Display Speakers and Soundbars

Our display speakers and soundbars are designed for video conferences and high-quality sound reproduction in media spaces. The active stereo systems are equipped with a digital signal processor (DSP) and multiband limiters. They offer a broad frequency spectrum and reproduce speech with high intelligibility. The DL-A 2.2 and SB-A 2.2 models are active 2-way systems with integrated subwoofers and higher output power. They are particularly suited to larger rooms and sophisticated music reproduction. The line array module F 208 AlArray with patented AlArray® technology has a switch-able dispersion angle of 120° × 10° or 120° × 30°. Compact Amplifiers

Our compact amplifi ers with automatic On/Off function and standby contact are designed for decentralized installation (even in inaccessible places) and for assembly in 19“ racks. The models PA 250 SD and PA 2100 SD are additionally fi tted with symmetrical inputs, bridge switches, switchable high-pass fi lters and VCA inputs. They can be regulated with the volume regulation panels WP-V and RP-V or by means of the DV module and up / down contacts.

Compact Amplifiers with DSP

New compact amplifi ers with integrated DSP. The power amplifi ers can be programed via Ethernet using our DSC Control software. 19“ Multi-Channel Amplifi ers with DSP

Amplifi er series with integrated 8×8 DSP. All models have eight symmetrical inputs and a total of eight outputs. Depending on the model, two to eight outputs are confi gu-red as power amplifi er channels with 100 watts of output power. The remaining outputs are available as symmetrical line outputs. The amplifi ers can be programed via Ethernet or USB using our DSC Control software. Controllers

System Controllers for processing signals in multi-channel public address systems. Our DSC Control software offers ten fully parametric fi lters, a delay of up to two seconds, plus limiters and compressors for every input and output. The mixer matrix can be used to route any input to different outputs. The controllers can be programmed via Ethernet or USB and controlled using media control systems. We can also confi gure project-specifi c presets on request.

Zone Mixer and ModulesThe MX 6 modular zone mixer distributes signals in multi-zone audio systems. It can be used to easily and individually operate multiple listening zones. Different controls are available for regulating and switching input and output signals. The RP panels are designed for rack set-ups (central control) while WP panels are designed for in-wall installation (decentralized control). The MX 6 can be expanded with different modules in line with user requirements.

Multiband Limiter

The ML 203 is a multiband limiter designed for volume limitation in public address systems e. g. in the gastronomy and for signal leveling of background music. Thanks to its multiband aurally compensated limiter circuit it permits an almost inaudible limitation or leveling even in the case of highly variable input levels.

Development and Production

We work closely with customers, planners and architects to develop our sophisticated speakers and amplifiers. Special designs, tailored sound dispersion characteristics and patented details are just some of the unique features that make our sound systems the perfect building blocks for multimedia installations and speech amplification systems. All lb products are developed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. We work with regio-nal suppliers and use the highest quality components. Designed with sustainability in mind, every part is long lasting and energy efficient. Our products are easy to maintain and service thanks to their modular design. From 2021, we will be offering a five-year warranty on our products.
