Christmas Family Day, AGM & End of Year Presentations

Christmas is fast approaching and it’s time to celebrate what a great year we have had with all of our karate friends and family. Once again your local association will be hosting a "Family Fun Day" in Cotten Tree Park on Sunday 10th December.Schedule9:00am Training in the park & water11:00am Games & AGM11:30am Annual Presentations12:00pm Free Sausage Sizzle Schedule may be altered slightly on the day.

New year new start. And there’s nothing like kicking off the year with a bang.

And, the best way we know how to welcome a New Year is to: 1. Get inspired 2. Hook up with like minded people to

share the journey 3. Take massive action and endure a

complete immersion to gain momentum

4. And once you have your mind/body pumping, then it is time to focus on your goals and keep on running.

So if you have some goals to achieve in 2018 and would like to draw off the positive dojo energy to get you moving, be sure to take full advantage of your unlimited training in January and the 2 Week Training Intensive. For further information please contact instructors.

2018 Japan Scholarship & Training Adventure

ATTENTION: 3rd Kyu and above students

If you are a serious student of Chito-Ryu Karate-do, we highly recommend that you make it a priority to train in Japan with Soke Sensei and other senior instructors. To help encourage this and make it bit more accessible, our local association offers a training scholarship each year to one member to be accompanied by either Sensei Martin or Sensei Sandra. Again next year (2018), the scholarship is on offer again.

Even if you are not applying for the scholarship, the invitation is also open to other members too. It's not an open invitation and it's not just for a holiday, this will be a training trip and it's only recommended for serious students who are prepared to work hard. Of course there will also be opportunities for sightseeing and a taking in the local culture, but the primary focus is HARD training.

Registration forms have been distributed via student mailboxes. Deadline for registering your interest has been extended until: Friday, 8th December 2017.
