CONTENTTEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIESREMARK

Paper-cut puppet Teacher will distribute the drawing papers to every student. Teacher will also prepare pencil colour/watercolour/ crayon. Teacher will ask the students their favourite character either in the story (told by the teacher) or the movie (if they have watched it). Teacher will show example of the paper-puppet. Students will start to draw and colour their puppet. Then they will cut the puppet according to its shape. Lastly, students will decorate their puppet.

Students will be able to visualise the story better because students usually enjoy hands-on approach.

Ask them why they chose the character.

Write a letter to a character After they are done doing the paper-cut puppet, ask students to pretend as Alice the character and write a short and simple letter to someone outside the fantasy world. They can write an invitation letter for the receivers to come and visit the fantasy world. Teacher will give out some examples of sentences to guide their letter writing process. This is actually to allow students to create own imagination about the fantasy world and express their own version of Wonderland. (of how they wanted it to look like, to persuade people to come and visit Alice) Teacher must make guide them, and remind them that the letter should not be too long and narrated. Students will learn how to express imagination

Teacher distributes the coloured-paper.

Teacher shows example of simple invitation letter compact with interesting details about the Wonderland.
