In order to get points for each, the player must cleanly field the ball and successfully hit the cutoff person.

THROWING STRENGTHCones will be placed at different distances: 5, 10, 15, and 20 pt. cones. Individuals must make a throw that surpasses each cone area on at least one hop to attain a point value. The ball must also land within a reasonable proximity to each cone of value. We will score the best of 5 throws with good throwing form.

THROWING ACCURACY10 throws are to be made from a designated area to the receiver standing at second base. The ball must hit the receiver in a position to make a tag, without her having to leave the base to catch the ball. No more than one bounce is allowed. (Catchers will be asked to do this drill again with throws to 2nd from home plate.)
