•The ice used to carve a two block ice sculpture has a starting weight of 600 pounds
•A four block ice sculpture has a starting weight of 1,200 pounds
•The battle between fire and ice usually lasts for 30 to 45 minutes
•The ice thrones are made from seven to ten blocks of ice
