• Al-An`am Chapter 6 : Verse 141Losers indeed are they who slay their children foolishly for lack of knowledge, and make unlawful what Allah has provided for them, forging a lie against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and are not rightly guided.

• Al-Ahzab Chapter 33 : Verse 60O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters, and the women of the believers, that they should pull down upon them of their outer cloaks from their heads over their faces. That is more likely that they may thus be recognized and not molested. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.

And that they strike not their feet so that what they hide of their ornaments may become known. And turn ye to Allah all together, O believers that you may prosper.

• Al-Mumtahanah Chapter 60: Verse 13O Prophet! When believing women come to thee, taking the oath of allegiance at thy hands that they will not associate anything with Allah, and that they will not steal, and will not commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor bring forth a scandalous charge which they themselves have deliberately forged, nor disobey thee in what is right, then accept their allegiance and ask Allah to forgive them. Verily, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful

• Al-Munafiqun Chapter 63 : Verse 10O ye who believe! Let not your wealth and your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whoever does so - it is they who are the losers.

• Al-Nisa’ Chapter 4 : Verse 125:

• Whoso does good whether male or female, and is a believer, shall enter Paradise and they shall not be wronged a whit.

• AHADITHS: • Holy Prophet of Islam (saw) tells

us: 'He who brings up his daughters well, and makes no distinction between them and his sons, will be close to me in Paradise.'

MOTHER-IN-LAW?

• 'Paradise is at the feet of the mother.' Islam recognizes the great role that women play in upbringing of the children and that the future of mankind and of societies depends on mothers. The paradise mentioned by the Holy Prophet (saw) refers to both the social paradise that can be achieved in Islam and the heavenly paradise. Therefore, mothers have been placed at a position of the highest respect. (DAUGHTERS OF EVE)

• HUZUR KHUTBAS: The high respect, which God commands us to hold for women in Islam, also dictates that women have to behave with utmost dignity and piety in order to become the most respected and honored segment of our society. (DAUGHTERS OF EVE)

• HUZUR KHUTBAS - Huzur remarked that if children are being brought up on the practice of mutual love and affection, they will be a source of peace for their parents and the society and teenage years. (DAUGHTERS OF EVE)

• Promised Messiah’s (on whom be peace) said:

• If we wish to have peace in our homes we should fill our homes with prayers; a house where prayers are made is never destroyed.

• Bani Isra'il Chapter 17: Verse 24 Thy Lord has commanded that ye worship none but Him, and that ye show kindness to parents. If one or both of them attain old age with thee, never say to them as much as ugh nor reproach them, but always address them with kindly speech."

• Al-`Ankabut Chapter 29: Verse 9 And We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents; but if they contend with thee to make thee associate that with ME of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Unto ME is your return, and I shall inform you of what you did.

• Luqman Chapter 31:Verse 15 "And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents - his mother bears him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning takes two years - and said, 'Give thanks to Me and thy parents. Unto Me is the final return"

• Al-Furqan Chapter 25: verse 54 And it is He, Who created man from water, then from him he caused two kinds of kindred, by blood and by marriage."

Surely, Allah loves not the arrogant and the boastful; "

• Al-Nisa' Chapter 4: Verse 2 • "O ye people! Fear your Lord who created you

from a single soul and of its kind created its mate, and from them twain spread many men and women; and fear Allah, in Whose name you appeal to one another, and fear him particularly respecting ties of kinship. Verily, Allah watches over you."

• Al-Nur Chapter 24 Verse 62 Holy Quran (24:62): "There is no harm for the blind, and there is no harm for the lame, and there is no harm for the sick and none for yourselves, that you eat from your own houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your father's brothers, or the houses of your father's sisters, or the houses of your mother's brothers, or the houses of your mother's sisters, or the houses of which the keys are in your possession, or from the house of a friend of yours. Nor is there any harm whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, salute your people with the greeting of peace - a greeting from your Lord, full of blessing and purity. Thus does Allah expound to you the commandments that you may understand. "
