The City of La Feria is looking for individuals who are interested in community service, and who are willing to volunteer their time for the betterment of the entire community of La Feria.

If you are one of these special people, come by City Hall and complete a Community Service Form, or call City Hall at (956) 797-2261, and we will be glad to mail or fax a form to you. The City Commission will consider these individuals while making appointments to different Boards of the City. Most boards require that you be a resident of La Feria and the meetings are held in the evenings, so that the members can attend the meetings. If you have any questions on board appointments, direct your calls to City Secretary Olga Oberwetter at the above phone number.

If your interest is on planning special events, the City welcomes your participation and the next event we will be planning is the 4th of July Parade and Celebration. There is no appointment by the City Commission needed for the events planning committee, just show up. The committee meets during the lunch hour 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Fire Station Meeting Room, 200 E. Busi-ness Hwy 83, La Feria.
