I joined ASA my first semester at Schreiner. I was unsuwhere I was going in life. Even if I knew where I wantego I had no idea how to get there. The sisters of Alpha SiAlpha changed my life. They taught me things about mythat, I had no idea I even needed to learn. Within the a

of ASA, I found myself drawn to the spiritual side of thsorority. I have always been a spiritual person. My senyear was the most difficult year at Schreiner. I was goi

through major family problems and the sisters surrounme with love and grace. The last semester of my senior y

I was Ritual Chair. I felt something fall into place. I wworking with the most sacred ASA materials and leadi

our rituals. Somehow being Ritual Chair helped me growmy own faith in God. I cannot thank the sisters enough

helping me find my way. After graduation in 2010, I participated in two Young A

Denver I worked at a hunger relief organization where

helped clients pay their past utilities. I now find myselfRichmond, Virginia attending Union Presbyterian Semin

to receive my Masters of Divinity and a Masters of ArtsChristian Education. I have just finished my first year a

am participating in a summer internship at Mo Ranch asSummer Chaplain Intern. I grew up attending conferen

and youth retreats here. I am truly blessed to be able to back to a place that has given so much to me.

Through my years at ASA I have found the strength tfollow my dreams of becoming a minister. The sisterho

that I found at Schreiner did not stop after graduation

While I dont keep in touch with everyone I have a few csisters who continue to be there for me in my times of nI encourage all of the sisters to let ASA help them figurewho they are and what they are called to do. Lean on eother in time of need. Thats what a sister is there for evafter you exit the Schreiner gates and head out into wor
