Order of controllers

In / Out are outside levers

Up / Down are inside levers

front –rear rear-front

Page 9: Ladder 29

Key items cont. Stabilizer Control Panel

HI - IDLE

Kicks up rpms for more power to hydraulic pump

Makes Stabilizer or Aerial functions quicker

Page 10: Ladder 29

Key items cont.

Stabilizer control panel

AERIAL DIVERTER

Switches hydraulic power between Stabilizers and Aerial device

Should only be used with motor at idle

Exception is when apparatus pump is operating

Page 11: Ladder 29

Key items cont.

EMERGENCY HYDRAULIC POWER

Back up emergency pump

Electric motor powered by 12 Vdc truck batteries

Use switch and hydraulic valve at same time

Use 1 min on 1 min off for proper cool down until aerial is bedded

Key items cont.

Stabilizer control Panel

STABILIZER NOT FULLY EXTENDED OVERRIDE

Allows for short jacking

Must have one side fully extended

Takes 2 FF to operate

Hold until aerial unbedded

Operate over extended side only
