Used to carry the loads to the foundation. Safe working loads in compression depend on restraint conditions.

Long Jack

The Long Jack incorporates a quick release mechanism which shortens the jack by 12mm with a single hammer blow to the Quick Release Collar. The Unique Swivel Base Plate on the Long Jack allows a combination of 10° and 2.5° of rotation.

Alshor Plus Jacks There are two Jacks in the Alshor Plus range. The Short Jack that has a range of 120-750mm and the Long Jack which has a range of 200-1250mm. Both Jacks are constructed from the same hollow aluminium extrusion which nests closely inside the Alshor Plus Leg and prevents the leg from turning. The cut thread is self cleaning with a four start thread to permit the nut to move 25mm in one turn. A captivated spring loaded plunger locks the Jack to the Leg.

Short Jack

The Short Jack should only be used at the top of the shoring system to support horizontal primary bearers. The jack, which is locked to the leg by the spring loaded plunger, does not have the quick release mechanism.

Bracing Frames The Bracing Frames incorporate spring loaded latches which automatically lock under the lugs on the Legs. At the ends of the top and bottom frame members are steel locating tongues that engage in the leg lugs.

Base Plate 200 x 170 x 10mm The Base Plate can be used at the base when adjustment is not required at the top when a U-Head is not required.

Albeam to U-Head Connection

U-Plate 270 x 220 x 6mm

The U-Plate 6mm bolts onto the Short Jack when a U-Head is required with adjustment. The U-Plate 6mm is fixed using 2qty M12 x 40mm Counter sunk bolts and nuts.

Board Bearers

Board Bearers locate over the top chords of Bracing Frames or Ledgers enabling the support of scaffold boards. Positioned at 1200mm centres or less.

The Ladder System is used to gain access to the integral working platforms. This system comprises;

› A Starter ladder attached to the lowest frame or to a pair of ledgers located at the lowest lug position.› A Bottom ladder secured between the Starter ladder and the floor.› Other ladder sections connected above the Starter ladder.

Ladders shall be placed at the centre of the Bracing Frame except for the 1200mm Bracing Frame where the ladder is secured next to the leg. The maximum distance from the ground to the first platform should not exceed 2.4m. The distance between platforms shouldn’t exceed 2.4m thereafter.

C-Hook

The Castor Unit is used to transport Alshor Plus tables on a smooth level surface. The Castor Unit slips over and positively locates onto the bottom of the Alshor Plus Long Jack. When tables are designed for moving using the Castor Unit, the minimum base jack extension is 350mm.

Used to move tables from floor to floor for rapid turnaround building construction. Single and double height C Hooks available.

The maximum size of table that may be flown using the C-Hook is 7.2 metres in either direction. The twin forks are extendable from 3.0m to 4.8m approximately in 100mm increments to suit the table length. The unit incorporates two fold out load stabiliser arms. These can be locked in three positions with the overall widths as the table right.

The U-Head incorporates a spigot that locates inside the Alshor Plus leg. It is fixed by a spring retainer that locates in the cross drilled holes at the end of the leg.

Leg to Leg Brace
