For this engine, both mechanical and automated manual transmission (AMT) are available. A luring choice to think about. Just listen to yourself and answer: what is my driving style? Sporty? Or comfortable?

AMT is a result of collaboration between the Russian and German engineers. This GB combines the «mechanical» and «automatic» functionalities.In manual mode, the driver can switch gears with the joystick, and in automatic mode the electronic actuators are in charge. The transmission settings ensure the most comfortable and economical gear shifting, simulating the actions of a highly careful and skilled driver. AMT was engineered for Russian market, so its serviceability does not depend on the outdoor temperature. AMT has the full functionality of the mechanical transmission, including engine braking and capability to swing out of snow heap. Unlike other transmission options, AMT saves fuel, extends service life. Additionally, it is much more affordable than other automatic transmissions.
