Moldy Strawberry

Hand Lens

Bread Slice (without preservatives)

Foil square

2 plastic bags

Dropper

Cup with water

What to DoObserve the mold on the strawberry. Draw what the mold looks like.

Wear gloves.

Lightly rub some mold off the strawberry onto the bread. Do the same for the foil.

What to DoPut the bread in a bag. Put the foil in another bag. Use a dropper to add 10 drops of water to the 2 spots where the mold was rubbed.Seal the bags. Put them in a warm, dark place. After you seal the bags, DO NOT reopen them After 4 days, observe the bags. Draw pictures of any mold growing in the bags.
